The Wild Escape

Commissioned by the National Horse Racing Museum in Newmarket, I devised and led creative workshops with five primary schools to create  artwork for this exhibition.

 

Inspired by the artist Lucy Kemp Welch and discovering the importance of biodiversity through exploring the museum’s urban green space, I worked with the children to imagine  how the horses may live if they ran wild, developing art work and creative writing to share their learning on the importance of local biodiversity and climate action.

 

I created the installation and public exhibition incorporating the students work for Earth Day 2023.
